Davines MINU Shampoo 250ml
The shampoo I reach for when someone's leaving with colour they've paid good money for.
Colour fades fastest in the first few washes, and most of that is down to what you're washing with. MINU is gentle enough that it doesn't strip tone the way a harsher shampoo does, so the colour you walked out with is closer to the colour you've still got three weeks later.
What you'll notice
It's light. Fine hair can use it without going flat or feeling coated, which isn't true of a lot of colour-care shampoos that lean rich. Hair looks brighter rather than duller as the weeks go on — that's the tone holding rather than any added shine.
Who it's for
Anyone with coloured or highlighted hair, and particularly fine hair that needs something gentle but not heavy. Mild enough for everyday use.
Who it's not for
If your hair is natural and undyed, you're paying for colour protection you don't need — something simpler will do the same job. And if you're dealing with heavy build-up or an oily scalp, this is too gentle to shift it; you want a clarifying wash first.
How to use it
Massage into wet hair, scalp first, then through the lengths. Rinse well. Follow with MINU Conditioner. If your hair was genuinely dirty, wash twice — the second lather does more because the first has lifted the oil.
