What you'll notice

Body straight away, and a matte finish rather than shine. Hair moves. Natural waves come forward that you didn't know were there, and flat hair gets lift that holds rather than dropping by mid-afternoon.

Who it's for

Short hair, where it's the quickest way to get texture and separation into a crop. And longer hair after a beachy, undone finish. Works across fine, medium and thick hair.

Who it's not for

Anyone wanting shine. This is a matte product and it will never give you gloss — that's the trade for the texture, not a fault. Same goes for long, heavy hair you want sleek: this works against smooth and polished rather than towards it. For either, you want OI All In One Milk or the OI Oil instead.

What to pair it with

Texturizing Dust — for maximum texture. Salt spray through the lengths for beachy grit, dust at the roots for lift and hold.

Curl Gel Oil — for waves and curls. The salt spray gives the texture and grip, the gel oil brings definition and stops the salt drying things out. Hair still feels soft.

How to use it

Shake well. Spray onto towel-dried hair for more volume and a fuller result, or onto dry hair to add texture to a finished style. Scrunch with your hands as you go. Build up gradually — a few sprays goes further than you'd think.
