Exactly what it says on the tin: shine.

A finishing mist that gives hair a glossy, reflective finish without any of the weight that usually comes with shine products. It calms frizz on the surface too, so the whole style looks smoother and more polished — but hair still moves.

What you'll notice

Real gloss, straight away. Flyaways settle and frizz calms, and hair keeps its body rather than going flat or greasy. It doesn't feel like there's anything on your hair at all.

Who it's for

Anyone wanting a polished, shiny finish — blow-dries, sleek styles, and hair that looks dull even when it's healthy. Works on fine hair because it doesn't weigh it down.

Who it's not for

If you're after a matte, textured or undone look, this takes you the other way. The Dry Texturizer or Sea Salt Spray are your finishing products instead.

Shimmering Mist or OI Oil?

Both give shine, but differently. OI Oil works into the lengths — softness, frizz control and treatment. Shimmering Mist sits on the surface as a finishing gloss, and it's lighter. Plenty of people use the oil on damp hair and the mist to finish.

How to use it

On finished, dry hair. Shake well, hold about 30cm away and mist lightly over the surface. A little goes a long way — one or two passes is usually enough, and it's easier to add than take away.
